Mixed Metaphors Podcast

Mixed Metaphors is a mixed-race storytelling podcast. We’ll be examining the power of culture in our world, and what can happen when more than one culture occupies the same space, by focusing on a group of people for whom clashing cultures is a daily reality.

When it comes to the mixed-race experience, I’ve lived just one version of many, and I look forward to exploring the stories of others like me, no matter how similar or different we actually are.

If you’d like to apply to share your story on the podcast, you can do so on our website:

About The Host

I’m a mixed-race woman and dyed-in-the-wool ’80s child. My father has a fairly garden-variety Midwestern U.S. white guy lineage, and my mother was born in Taiwan—a small island nation off the coast of mainland China.
